Charles Andersen received his Bachelor of Music Education and Master of Music in Wind Conducting degrees from the University of Florida. He has earned academic recognition including scholarships for the study abroad program hosted by the University of Florida in Salzburg, Austria, and multiple placements on the Dean’s List and President’s List. Upon graduation, he was recognized as the most outstanding undergraduate in the School of Music.
In addition to his time in Salzburg, Mr. Andersen has studied music and conducting throughout the United States and Europe. He has participated in conducting workshops in Florida, Tennessee, Georgia, New York, Texas, and Washington D. C. in the United States as well as London, England; Zlin, Czech Republic; and Bacău, Romania in Europe.
Mr. Andersen has been an active educator since 2006 and is currently working towards a Master of Music in Orchestral Conducting degree at the University of North Texas.
